A moody reinterpretation of Neroli, where time slows and senses gently drift. Bright Moroccan Neroli blossoms entwine with the dark, green attitude of Cannabis Leaf. This duet is sweetened by the warm, honeyed richness of Beeswax Absolute. Zesty Green Mandarin and luxurious Orange Blossom Water float the composition into a sparkling cloud of citrus. Elegant Orris Root gives sophisticated grounding. Drift in a spaced-out summer haze.
This perfume contains beeswax and thus is not vegan.
We made this perfume with 15West. Marc requested a Neroli perfume, but I've never found an interesting one – they're always so simple and cheerful. Instead of the predictable lightness, we wanted to break the rules (and to allude to Marc's Amsterdam youth). Here, the Neroli is no simple flower. It’s layered, lush with citrus sweetness, but shadowed by a rebellious dark heart.

WHAT IS NEROLI?
Neroli (Citrus aurantium var. amara)

Neroli comes from the buds of the Bitter Bigarade Orange tree — better known as the Seville Orange, the bitter citrus used in traditional English marmalade. This remarkable tree offers perfumery an entire palette of scents: Bigarade Orange Oil from the peel, Petitgrain from the leaves and twigs, Neroli from the buds, and once the blossoms open fully, Orange Blossom Absolute.
The scent of Neroli is a luminous balance of floral and citrus. Fresh and green at first breath, it unfolds with facets of radiant spice, sweet honey, and the indolic sharpness that links it to other white florals. At times it can turn “soapy,” yet in the hands of a skilled perfumer it lends refinement, freshness, and a sunlit glow to a fragrance.
For centuries Neroli has symbolised purity and innocence, though its sensual odour also carries an unmistakable carnal undertone.
Our Neroli is hand-harvested each spring in Morocco, from trees decades old. The buds are carefully picked and immediately steam-distilled into Neroli oil. The fragrant distillation water is upcycled into Orange Blossom Water.
As a footnote, Neroli is said to be one of the main secret ingredients in the original Coca-Cola recipe.
